What does the metaphor, ‘You can swim through every change of time’ really mean? You can make it smoothly through tough times?

It’s an intellectually lazy platitude if you ask me. Shiver me timbers, being redundant must be contagious. You must know this. What are the marketing gurus going to think of next?
